Our approach
We provide caring and considered clinical psychology services that are grounded in evidence-based care, compassion and a deep desire for our clients to feel safe and heard. We have a passion for working with children, parents and women and our aim is to walk alongside you while you navigate through life’s transitions and challenges. Our approach to therapy draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focussed Therapy. We also provide play therapy for our child clients, as well as, creative based therapies for children and women.
Services
Child Psychology
I provide tailored individual support for children aged 5-12. My approach is based on evidence based practices and draws on play and creative therapies to be able to meet the child where they are developmentally. Working with children is rarely done in isolation and most often will involve collaboration with parents, carers and schools. I pride myself on creating a space where children feel safe so they are able to learn new skills, process emotions and express themselves in a way that feels right for them.
Parenting
Parenting can be deeply meaningful, and incredibly demanding. When your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, social or learning challenges, it can leave you feeling worried, overwhelmed, or unsure how best to help. Parenting support offers a warm, nurturing, and non-judgmental space to slow down and make sense of what’s happening, for your child and for you. By strengthening your own understanding, self-compassion, and emotional regulation, you become better equipped to respond to your child’s needs with confidence and clarity.
Women’s mental health
I support women using evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), alongside creative therapies where helpful. At the heart of my work is building a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. Therapy offers a non-judgmental space to show up as you are, without needing to perform or hold everything together. Together, we take time to understand who you are, strengthen your capacity to support yourself through life’s inevitable challenges, and gently process and integrate past experiences.
